The school follows a structured evaluation system through unit tests, terminal examinations, annual examinations and continuous assessment of student performance.

Promotion is based on the year's work, conduct, regularity and annual examination marks.

Examinations
- Besides the terminal and annual examinations, there will be unit tests. The results of these tests will be considered for promotion.
- Results of examinations and tests will be given in the report cards. Parents are requested to examine and sign them in time.
- Students who are absent for the terminal and annual examinations for any reason other than sickness justified by a doctor's certificate will be considered as having failed.
- No examinations will be held before the time fixed for the examination.
- No re-examination will be conducted if students absent themselves from any examination or test.
Promotions
- For promotion to a higher standard, the year's record of work will be taken into account along with the marks of the annual examination.
- The year's work includes weekly/monthly tests and terminal examinations.
- The year's work also includes day-to-day written work such as composition, homework and daily lessons.
- Individual traits of character such as good conduct, regularity, responsibility, cooperativeness and sociability will be considered.
- If a pupil is unable to appear for the whole or part of an examination due to a valid reason, the case will be considered on the strength of his/her year's record.
- All doubtful cases regarding promotion are left entirely to the discretion of the Principal and his decision shall be final.
- Promotions refused will not be reconsidered.
Rules for the Conduct of Examination
- Before answering the questions, students should enter their name, number, standard, division, subject and date correctly.
- Students should attend carefully to any general instructions given at the head of the question paper.
- Neatness, handwriting and spelling will be taken into account in every subject.
- Students should read the questions very carefully for five minutes.
- Students should write on both sides and number the pages.
- Answers should be numbered according to the question paper.
- Students should revise their answer papers before submitting them.
- No pupil should possess any book, memorandum or notes in the examination hall. Anyone found cheating will be instantly expelled and reported.
